As an avid turtle lover, the name 'Trick Turtle' sprang to mind effortlessly, perfectly encapsulating my passion. This project marked a new chapter in my journey, as I've always appreciated casual mobile games. I felt a strong desire to challenge myself by designing a game from scratch, transforming my ideas into an engaging experience.

The process has been a blend of rewarding achievements and intricate challenges, pushing my creative limits. Ultimately, my goal is to craft a game that not only entertains but also inspires players in search of a delightful and laid-back gaming experience. With 'Trick Turtle', I hope to share my love for turtles and the joy of gaming with a wider audience, making it a unique and enjoyable adventure for all.

After nearly a decade working as a software technician and developer outside the gaming industry, I found myself facing an unexpected layoff amid the challenges of the U.S. economy.

With some savings and a generous severance package, I decided it was the perfect opportunity to leverage my degree in gaming and simulation programming. Teaming up with Toni, who brings a wealth of ideas and design expertise, I embarked on a journey to bring her vision to life.

Together, we are dedicated to transforming 'Trick Turtle' into a flourishing indie studio, where creativity and innovation drive our gaming projects. Each day presents new challenges, but with passion and determination, we are committed to making our mark in the gaming world.
